Abstinence-only education continues to edge out comprehensive, accurate sexuality education. The Higher Education Act makes it extremely difficult for people with only minor drug records to go to college. Funding for low-cost or free health care disappears leaving many of us, and our families, unable to take care of our health.

There are many organizations that appreciate support from members of the community, be it volunteering for an afternoon, organizing your neighbors to support a particular ballot proposition or candidate, or becoming a mentor for youth at the local community center. Below are some places to start.
